Police are looking for a man who failed to return home after a visit in Hague on Saturday night.

John Miller, 76, was expected to return to his Bismarck home at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. However, he had not returned from the small town southeast of Strasburg as of Sunday.

According to a release from the Bismarck Police Department, Miller has some "medical issues" that make finding him critical.

Emmons County authorities say someone stopped to render aid to a stopped motorist west of Linton on North Dakota Highway 13 early Saturday evening. The stopped motorist matched Miller's description, but he has not been seen since. At that time, he asked for directions to Hague.

Miller's expected route to Bismarck would have been to go north on Highway 83, then go into Bismarck on old Highway 10.

Miller is driving a red 1991 Ford Ranger with North Dakota license plate DYV178. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds. He has white hair and is balding. He has brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue-and-white-striped shirt and light-colored blue jeans.

Anyone with information about Miller or his whereabouts should call the Bismarck Police Department at 223-1212.
