A Florida man has been charged for allegedly starting a fire and breaking into a vehicle in Bismarck.
Ronald Scarborough, 56, was charged Wednesday with Class C felony unlawful entry into a vehicle, Class Cfelony endangering by fire, and Class B misdemeanor theft.
South Central District Judge Bruce Romanick set a $10,000 cash bond for Scarborough, who is from St. Petersburg, Fla.
Scarborough is accused of entering a 1993 Nissan Maxima around 10 p.m. Tuesday and stealing a rearview mirror and other items from inside. He also is accused of starting and maintaining a fire that destroyed the car and damaged a building on the 2100 block of Lee Avenue.
