A Richardton man was killed Sunday in a rollover accident east of Hebron.
Ryan Kitzan, 21, died at the scene of the accident after being ejected from the pickup in which he was riding. Another man, Zachary Palmer, was also ejected and was injured, according to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Troopers have not yet determined who was driving the vehicle, which was traveling north on County Road 89 at about midnight Sunday. As the vehicle entered a curve near County Road 139, the driver lost control of the Ford F-150. The truck entered the west ditch, crashed through a fence and rolled.
Kitzan and Palmer, a 25-year-old from Hebron, were ejected. Kitzan was pronounced dead at the scene, and Palmer was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck. He is in fair condition, a hospital spokeswoman said this morning.
The patrol is still investigating the accident.
