Wiedrich awarded
Tim Wiedrich, chief of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Section of the North Dakota Department of Health, has received the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials' State-Level Excellence in Public Health Award.
The occasional award recognizes outstanding service on behalf of the public health community.
Wiedrich was a leader in organizing and initially chairing the state preparedness directors.
A Beulah native, he joined the health department in 1984. He also directs its Division of Education Technology.
Hoskins in charge
Ulteig has named Jason Hoskins senior vice president in charge of its energy sector.
With Ulteig since 1999, he will work from the Minneapolis office.

Heringer completes
Everett E. Heringer, of Bismarck's Center for Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry, recently completed his final phase of "Master Level Treatment Planning" from the Dr. Frank Spear Institute on Advanced Dental Education, Seattle.
Two of Heringer's completed "full mouth reconstruction cases" were presented at the training.
New to staff
Several people recently joined the staff of Applied Medical, whose services now include massage therapy.
Licensed massage therapists Amber Dufault and Kyle Wentz are new employees at the Applied Medical Plaza location in Dickinson.
Dufault, a graduate of Williston State College through the Bismarck State College campus, specializes in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, pregnancy massage, chair massage and ear candling.
Wentz, a graduate of Josef's School of Hair Design in Grand Forks, specializes in stone massage, Swedish massage, pregnancy massage and chair massage.
Val Tift has been hired as a receptionist/office assistant at the Dickinson Applied Medical Plaza location.
Cameo Anderson is a new office assistant at the corporate office in Bismarck.
Heidi Thorson and Sarah Huckell have joined AMI as therapist assistants.
Thorson, a certified speech language pathology paraprofessional, will work in southwest and south central North Dakota. She earned a bachelor's degree in communication science and disorders from the University of North Dakota and also attended Williston State College.
Huckell has been hired as a certified occupational therapy assistant and will provide services in the Bismarck area. She is a graduate of North Dakota State College of Science with experience working in nursing home settings.
Bureau promotes
Credit Collections Bureau has promoted Ben Brown and Jessica Jones to collection associates; Don Wright to collection adviser; Bonnie White to senior collection director level II; Lanna Smith to its Quarter-million Dollar Club; and Linda Lee and Troy Michael to its Million Dollar Club.
