Fireside and MicroFrontiers have merged

Fireside Office Solutions and Bismarck-based MicroFrontiers have merged.

MicroFrontiers relocated its office to the current Fireside Office Solutions location at 1713 E. Bismarck Expressway. The technical staff of MicroFrontiers has been retained by Fireside Office Solutions. By combining both service organizations into one, Fireside Office Solutions will offer more computer networking services and quicker response to customers needs.

Fireside Office Solutions is a full-line office products company dealing in computer network design, managed services, copier/printer sales and service, in addition to a full line of office furnishings and supplies.

NISC named a top workplace

National Information Solutions Cooperative was selected for the sixth year by IDG's Computerworld as one of the top workplaces for information technology professionals. It is part of the weekly ITpublication's 15th annual Best Places to Work in IT survey, published in the June 20 issue of Computerworld.

NISCranked No. 41 overall in the 2008 survey, and No. 7 overall among the best small companies with fewer than 2,500 employees.

NISC has facilities in Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Mandan, and employs more than 700 professionals who develop and support advanced software solutions to electric utilities, rural telephone companies and Fortune 100/500 corporations nationally.
