A fire destroyed a shop and several vehicles south of Bismarck on Wednesday morning, but no one was injured in the blaze.

Bismarck Rural Fire Capt. Donavan Voeller said the fire, reported shortly before 10 a.m., began as people were working in the shop on the 1200 block of 22nd Avenue.

Voeller did not know the names of the owners of the shop or what was being worked on when the fire broke out.

The shop was detached from a house on the same property, and Voeller was unsure if the shop was a business or for personal use. He said four or five vehicles inside were destroyed by the fire.
