Five people are honored here today with Tribune Awards, for doing something extraordinary for another person or a community. They were all nominated by readers. They represent acts and lives of service.This is the 20th year that the Tribune has presented the awards on the front page of the first newspaper of the new year. Thank you to the readers making the nominations. And thank you to the Tribune Award winners for their good works.
