FARGO (AP) -- The wife of a man convicted in a 2006 West Fargo fairgrounds riot says he is being deported to his native Bosnia.

Chanda Hidanovic says her husband, Mevludin, will be deported sometime in the next six months and taken to Sarajevo.

Mevludin Hidanovic was convicted in January 2007 of engaging in a riot at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds while armed. He has been in the custody of the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement after serving his 18-month sentence on the state charges.

Chanda Hidanovic said the deportation decision came at a hearing Monday in Minnesota.
