The Abused Adult Resource Center has received a $1,000 grant from Target to help fund Pam's House, AARC's emergency shelter.

Since opening its doors, Target has given 5 percent of its income to organizations that support education, the arts, social services and volunteerism.

The AARC is a nonprofit that serves survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and families in a seven-county area in south-central North Dakota.
