Two 8-year-old girls have been cited with theft for allegedly stealing a computer from their classroom.

Bismarck Police Lt. Randy Ziegler said the principal at Dorothy Moses Elementary, 1312 Columbia Drive, reported on Friday that a laptop had been stolen from a third-grade classroom between Sept. 30 and Thursday.

The class's teacher noticed the computer missing, investigated and told the principal, Ziegler said.

He said two 8-year-old girls were cited with theft. The Apple iBook was located and recovered from one student's backpack, he said.
