Brian Gehring has joined the the Bismarck Tribune as its outdoors reporter. Gehring is a North Dakota native, growing up in McClusky.
He holds an associate's degree in wildlife and fisheries technology from North Dakota State University-Bottineau and a bachelor's degree in journalism from South Dakota State University.
Gehring is a former weekly newspaper editor, having worked in Chamberlain, S.D., Carrington, Hazen and Center, and also worked as a sports editor in Hazen and Beulah.
He lives in Hazen and is married with three children and one grandchild.
