Man killed in minivan crash

TOWER CITY (AP) - The Highway Patrol says a minivan slid off a Cass County road and rolled onto its roof, killing one passenger and injuring the driver and two others.

The patrol says 30-year-old Brandon Bakke of Valley City was pronounced dead at the scene of the Sunday morning crash about a mile south of Tower City.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Michael Schlenvogt of Valley City, was flown to a Fargo hospital. Two other passengers were driven by ambulance to the hospital. They are identified as 25-year-old Michael Dawes of Jamestown and 41-year-old Bobby Kveset of Valley City.
