DICKINSON (AP) - Dickinson State is considering eight people for the school's vacant head women's volleyball coach position.

Among them is Yong Li, assistant coach for the U.S. national women's team. DSU athletic director Roger Ternes said Fernanda Nelson, a former assistant coach at National American University, and Ryan Platt, assistant at the University of Montana are also in the running.

Former Blue Hawks coach Dave Moody, who turned the program into a national powerhouse, resigned this spring after 18 years to spend more time with his children. Moody is the school's all-time leader in wins, with 466. He led the Blue Hawks to eight national tournaments and an NAIA championship in 2000.

Ternes said officials hope to start interviews before the end of April.
