GRAND FORKS (AP) - A man is accused of stealing $136,000 from the Bingo Palace in Grand Forks.

Heath Volk, 33, of Grand Forks, was charged on Tuesday with felony theft.

Police said the alleged theft occurred over a three-year period. Police said Volk turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday.

The bingo parlor is operated by the North Dakota Association for the Disabled. NDAD President Ron Gibbens said Volk had been an employee for more than 14 years but was fired late last year after the theft allegations surfaced.
