Aggravated assault: Irene C. Bull Bear, 43, 600 S. Ninth St. No. 56, two years with one year and 305 days suspended for four years with supervised probation.

Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver: Marcus S. Shaw, 23, 418 N. 13th St. No. 1, 10 years with six years suspended for five years with supervised probation, also possession of drug paraphernalia: 13 months, jail time served concurrently.

Delivery of marijuana: Joseph J. Kalonick III, 19, Menoken, deferred sentence for five years with supervised probation, restitution, 60 hours community service, also conspiracy to deliver marijuana: deferred sentence for five years.

Felony Dismissals

Burleigh County

Gregory Mitchell, 32, 610 Ninth St. N.W. No. 5, Mandan, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The charge was dismissed.

Carrie Simenson, 26, 1102 E. Bowen Ave., was charged with child neglect or abuse. The charge was dismissed.

Marco L. Salinas, 28, 3315 University Drive No. 196, was charged with burglary. The charge was dismissed.

Paulette M. Joshua, 20, 211C W. Bowen Ave., was charged with interference with telephone during emergency call. The charge was dismissed.

" i think that the court system in the area is a joke. you can get away with pretty much anything you want with just a slap on the wrist. example you tried to sell 50 lbs of cocaine and a ton of meth to second graders on the playground while molesting them. 30 days defered sentance 50 dollar fine.. while if you are caught drinking and driving in your own driveway with a bac of .1, 2yrs and 10,000 fine fed pen. what is wrong with this picture? "
