TAEKWONDO
World Championships
The ATA Blackbelt Academy in Bismarck will be sending four students to the Taekwondo World Championships in Little Rock, Ark., June 21-24. The students are Anthony Morrell, 10, Jaden Jonson, 9, Corey Helm, 8, and Jonas Jonson, 7.
All four have competed in tournaments throughout the year and have earned spots in the top 10 of their age group and rank. They will be competing for the title of world champ in each of their specialities.
Morrell will be competing in traditional weapons and sparring.
Jaden Jonson will enter in traditional weapons. Helm will be participating in XMA weapons. Jonas Jonson will be competing in traditional form, traditional weapons and sparring.
