The car was a-rockin', so the law went a-knockin'. Bexar County sheriff's deputies drawn by the actions of an amorous couple in a parked car allegedly found more than amour. Deputy Ino Badillo told the San Antonio Express-news that they also found enough equipment and chemicals in the car to start a methamphetamine lab. [Full Story]

Woman sitting on toilet accidentally shot in leg

Authorities said a bullet from a gun that was accidentally dropped injured a Tampa woman sitting in a bathroom stall. Police said the bullet hit 53-year-old Janifer Bliss in the lower left leg. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. [Full Story]

W.Va. woman wins her 9th big lottery prize

Woman who had 150 cats in NJ mansion fined $35,000

A woman accused of keeping 150 cats in her New Jersey mansion has been ordered to pay more than $35,000 in fines and restitution. Wanda Oughton pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of animal cruelty for failing to provide adequate shelter. The judge in Chester Township Municipal Court also told the 62-year-old she's not allowed to own more than six cats over the next three years. [Full Story]

Porn-blaring man to take anger management classes

A suburban Philadelphia man has agreed to take anger management classes for blaring a pornographic soundtrack to chase away kids playing outside his home. Michael Buck was arrested May 31 at his upscale Phoenixville cul-de-sac after irate neighbors told police they could hear the sexually explicit audio a block-and-a-half away. [Full Story]

Police arrested a man suspected of stealing duck calls from a vehicle. Authorities said a 40-year-old man was booked Wednesday with burglary of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. [Full Story]

Golfer sentenced for bashing man with 6-iron

A golfer has been sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison for bashing another player over the head with a 6-iron during a fight over slow play. The 34-year-old man, Nicholas Jay Shampine, had been convicted of assault in King County Superior Court. [Full Story]

Two brothers in Rio are living over the edge _ literally: sleeping, working and eating on the side of a building 33 feet (10 meters) up in the air. Twenty-seven-year-old Tiago Primo and his 20-year-old brother Gabriel spend 12 hours a day in the bed, hammock, chair and dining table they've attached to a bright red-and-yellow wall as part of an art exhibit in Rio's old center.
